Partner Participation
We provide free tax preparation, credit report counseling, and financial education seminars to our customers and their families while they wait for service at our metro Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) sites. We encourage our customers to wisely use their tax refund through our campaign to “Spend Some, Save Some, and Invest Some” as we promote financial stability. We invite you to share your expertise by indicating your support below. Once you complete the form, click the submit button at the bottom. You will receive an email with information on accessing the online portal, the Vault, where professional partners may reserve time slots for information booths and presenting at tax sites, update their information, and receive messages.
Coalition Membership
The Omaha EITC Coalition consists of Federal, State and City agencies, community social service agencies, banks, civic groups and associations, professional financial organizations, universities and individuals. Coalition members attend Coalition meetings and events to provide guidance and ideas to help us further our goals and make a difference within our community. We come together as a Coalition to:
- Serve a shared clientele
- Low to Middle Income
- Limited English Proficient
- Persons with Disabilities
- Seniors
- Entrepreneurs
- Share a belief in the value of community financial stability
- Promote a common mission, not individual agendas, with the willingness to confront issues impacting the low-to-middle income communities of our metropolitan area
- Improve lives as change agents
- See possibilities and develop opportunities for growth
- Do real work with mutual benefits
- Have an impact statewide, regionally, and nationally
Any Coalition member may serve as a professional partner at tax sites in addition to attending meetings. Professional partners are welcome to attend Coalition meetings, but it is not expected or required.
